"New moon, full moon, low tide half past nine"
The full moon and new moon periods are two magical weeks in Taipú de Fora.
If you have the chance to book your stay in one of these weeks, you'll probably be able to enjoy your beach time more.

- So the natural pools appear for a longer period during the day, and also at night.
- Low tide gives you more time to enjoy beach activities such as hiking, running, cycling, snorkeling - even at night.
- During the week of the full moon, the moon rises from the ocean every night. The view is spectacular!
- On the first day of full moon, you can watch the moonrise and the sun set at the same time in some places on the Peninsula.
- During the new moon the sky is so dark that it is possible to see thousands of stars on the sky.
